Decorative dish

Cast pewter with engraved decoration. The central motif is Neptune holding a trident; the mythological god of waters and seas is surrounded by horses, Tritons, Nereids and other figures of the seas. On the wide lip, four cartouches of putti riding dolphins, seahorses, and a seashell are connected by figures of water Satyrs and mascarons.
